Hasn’t shopping these days become boring?
Kudos to the mall culture, you can find the same
shoes you were drooling on (and also got them at a hefty price) on a girl
walking right ahead of you.
But, you see, God takes care of all his
children. Hence, there are flea markets.
Flea markets are small bazaars of a temporary raw setup
where people with creative ideas of new/old products, upcoming labels, bartering
etc. put up stalls. They can be based on design concept, selling fruits and
vegetables or stand with themes such as up-cycling/re-cycling of products as a green
step of moving closer to nature.
Second-to-None is one such flea market completely on a concept
of re-use, re-cycle, up-cycle and the green idea. It took place at Jaaga on KH
road on a Sunday. People who put up stalls came up with some amazing green ideas
in their minds.
It feels great to acknowledge and come across
such people- making new things out of the old, keeping memories revived or
simply giving a rebirth to some old discarded material.
Here are the glimpses. And the details will
follow up in the next posts! :)
