NEUTRAL BOLDNESS!

There is big difference between being brave and being bold. You can show being the latter but not yet not be one. While you can be the former yet not show it!

Guess, I found a neutral boldness in this chic! Power dressing for women is something which should be an ample topic to write on sometime!

Dressing in blacks, high heels or power shouldered jackets can turn down the fingers pointed at you! So, dare and dress up with some boldness. You know you are brave inside!

HOW CREEPY AND CREATIVE: EMBROIDERY ON X-RAY

Whats your first thought?
*creepy*
*creative*
*both*
*none*

Philadelphia-based artist Matthew Cox layers embroidery on top of medical x-rays to create these wonderfully weird pieces. The clash of two such divergent materials, cloth and plastic, already seems strange enough but add in the fact that one is quick and technical while the other is labor intensive and you have something that's quite thought-provoking.

what an odd thought?
Words that seem to come up repeatedly are anachronistic, labor-intensive, meticulously crafted, and creepy, that's what the observers say! No wonder they say there's always so much new to do and explore even after the discovery of the different apples (in case you are wondering- I am talking about Newton's, Eve's and Steve's Job's apple :p)
creepy at first but yeah, I give a score on the creativity!

I have no idea how many of us can try it out and frame it on the wall in our rooms! I fear of skeletons!..ewwww!
well..it seems interesting enough to share!

MOVEMBER- THE MOUSTACHE NOVEMBER!

Dudes, its MOVEMBER- a moustache growing charity event held during November each year. Apparently you start the month clean-shaven and end it with a moustache, raising “money and awareness about male health issues” on the way.

And pinch me on this. This game has got its own rules!
  • You must begin the 1st of November with a clean shaven face.(better late than never)
  • You grow/groom a moustache for the entire month of November.
  • No joining of the mo to your sideburns.
  • No joining of the handlebars to your chin (that is considered a goatee).
  • You must conduct yourself as a true country gentleman.

This is so cool. well, it started for a cause and because it fun, they do gain a lot out of the event. The event was conceived in 1999 by a group of Australian men from Melbourne. It is also known as "Novembeard". Since 2004, the Movember Foundation charity has run Movember events to raise awareness and funds for men's health issues, such as prostate cancer and depression, in Australia and New Zealand. And since then, it has spread around the world. Just to make you realize the loudness - Over 15.2 million dollars were raised by Canada alone in 2010 which made it ahead of all other countries participating in the campaign including Australia where this campaign began seven years ago (as stated here).

People around the world have their own inspiring icons and they grow their own epic moustaches! Who could have thought to go back into the 80's fashion?? Who knew just growing of some facial hair would lead to a global movement?

From Salvador Dali(the surrealist), Charlie Chaplin(the comedian), John Waters(film maker/actor), Sam Elliot(actor), Tom Selleck(actor)(ooh..remember Monica's BF from Friends?), Genghis Khan(the Mongolian warrior), Hulk Hogan(the wrestler), Che Guevara(the revolutionary) John Hogdman(apple's PC guy) ....to our Indian mustache men like Raj Kapoor, Pran, Raaj Kumar, Udham Singh, Mehmood, Amol Palekar, Shatrugan Sinha, Amitabh Bachchan, Danny Denzongpa, Anil Kapoor.....the swish Kapil Dev, the decoit Veerappan, or the politician Lal Krishna Advani....all have been recognized in their own mustache way!

How unique can you men be by keeping your facial hair in your way!Naaice!
Good luck to Movember!

CHIC IN THE KITSCH

Here's what I found!
A smart look in the kitsch mandi I visited weeks ago. With laces on her white top, decked up with denim shorts and a hardly visible red floral hair-pin (I was in a hurry..and it was raining and I wanted to finish the exhibition soon...and go for some window shopping..so kindly adjust!)

looks cool to me! Accessories always will add it to your beauty. Specially the hair accessories. Remember my sunflower scrunchy!
so, go and buy some pretty things for your head!
PS: I took pains to show how her hair-pin looked! :)

I've always thought my flowers had souls.

Ok. It's a saying by Myrtle Reed. Flowers are an inspiration in the most unscathed way.

To poets praising the daisies, the daffodils and the dandelions, to painters painting the lush floral lawns and the yellow sunflower fields, to birds sucking nectar from the wild ones or the temple bells and the incense sticks picturesqueness in perfection with the marigolds, to the lover with the red rose and to the petalled hair smelling of some cryptic fragrance!
*
OK. This one's original! :)*

God loved the flowers and invented soil. Man loved the flowers and invented vases. The number of smiles it brings when it blooms, the infinite crushes it has; nature has its own way of making everything beautiful! Seems like the nature's way of fashion!

I felt like I am God but lacked the power of putting soul in it!

Classy, elegant and beautiful! and all the synonyms!

So, here is an inspiration for you folks to wear nudes. Remember accents are a must! And red is timelessly amazing!
