I eloped into the unexplored,

Something that they call wild.

There was monotony in my day,

And I was far too alive to stay happy and gay.

Met curiosity on the way

Ditching gospels wherever they came

Apricots, marmalade, mandarins and zinnia,

Lay their surprises on my toe.

It was a schmoose of hours and ages,

Cut down by the stars gazing.

And then it felt so-

Every day must have a dawn

The way every citrus does have a sweet horn.

Style Citrus- Interpretation

This is my old celebrated thought of interpreting kinetics in colours. Tangerine was long declared the colour of the year, but it took me a while to figure out my idea of going tangelo! With the collar accessory making a statement these days, I got a collar made out of the tango citrus- Bright, Bold and Neon. Wearing solids can be more fun than I ever imagined. You can play around with accessories here. Not to forget the accent colors. For instance, the neon pink on the edge of collar and on my lips.

My perfect notion of being Citrus- After all, it does have a sweet horn.

COLOR RELIGION - COLOR BLOCK NEON

Color blocking at its best with the trendy Neon interpretation and the complete coordinated look- A true color religion. Hues of hot pink and tangy tangerine together are simply fabulous!

NEON-ised FLORALS

Summer's totally coming over now! And so are summer trends! :)

With florals considered a classic style for perfect for summers and neon making its way back in- a combination of both has caught my eye. 

PS- I am posting this article on InFB remix. 

Quick tips:

• Leggings in various colors and even floral prints are a must have this summer.
• Try Neon in prints and patterns to make it look fresh and busy and eye-catching- not just flat.
• Its the color that speaks your mood and also effects it. So, opt for lovely bright colors in florals suitable for summer which look light and bright.
• Try dresses, skirts, leggings or scarves instead of the regular floral tops of the "Been there, done that" situation.
• If going for floral tops, ignore the blue and black denims. Alternatively, try colored bottoms. They look awesome.:)

VERTICAL / HORIZONTAL- A STRIPE SITUATION

Stripes all the way for Summers!

Stripes: A staple of everyone's wardrobe are as usual in this summer as well.

Every print, design or silhouette we wear has some science behind it. Pair them with right pieces and tame the stripes on you.Either for lazy weekends or desks or dinners, they can make you look comfy and smart at the same time.

Quick facts to digest- 

You already know it!

Vertical stripes make you look taller than the horizontal ones. Not that you should never wear horizontal stripes, but you can always coordinate them smartly on tees with silhouettes that give illusion to your body shape. Eg. Akangsha wearing a horizontal striped tee with puffed sleeves.

Fit into them right!

Keep in mind that whatever you try should always fit you correctly. A lose striped dress might not show your curves

Accent always works!

Accented stripes with accessorries such as bags, shoes, scarves or brooches are always the saviour of your last minute outfit decisions. Pair your regular denims and tops with a bit of striped accessories popping here and there.

Color them all!

Especially for the summers when the colors are all bright and happy, stripes just look great as a lovely rainbow in the sky. And try wearing solid colored denims or skirts with them. You'll just catch everyone's eye!

Mixing is good!

Mix stripes with solids or maybe other prints- florals or polka dots. But remember keeping a breathing space in you look.

Flying in a skirt!

Skirts are like the coolest thing to wear in summers. Flaunt in them with horizontal stripes and you wouldn't have to worry if you look fat in horizontal stripes.

WEEKEND RECIPE!

Seasons may keep on changing, but the way you treat yourself on a weekend should never be unnatural. So, when its scorching hot - the tip is:

"Change your dressing style but not your weekend plans."

After all, you dress to be comfortable too, not only stylish! And, dressing with comfort and in style together proves you smart. Ain't it?

Absorb some quick facts for summer dressing-

• Cottons, linen and voile absorb sweat from your body and keep you dry. Avoid wearing sateen or polyester. 
• I know 'Black' looks awesome, but it can make you feel gruesome. It absorbs heat at higher level than other colors. Hence, pastels and neon are declared to be a summer trend. Not  just the reason that they only look awesome. ;)
• Feel good factor for dressing- Spring yourself up. I mean Adding florals to your look.
• Carry some water, SPF lotion, deodorant in your mini bag. Always.
• Whatever you wear - the final and the must-have trim is your shades. Always!

A few days back, it was a Turn 24 for Rebecca and a reason for us to enjoy that moment of hers.

With a decorated FB event page, she invited everyone to her party.

And, obvious that we were to go all dressed up. So we did. Hence the pictures here. ;)

And then rest is history. the talks of the twenties, feelings of holding a Barbie, holding balloons and that big-eyed panda; wearing caps, listening her brother and friends play guitar, OMG Rebecca singing...

A trend update-

Mustards, florals, jumpsuits, asymmetric dresses- is what I want to bring your focus on! 

Here we were after the sunset, at a Turn 24 phase. Light moments, dressy movements! :)

SUNGLASS YOUR STYLE

Bring out your summer essentials. It’s time!

Light cottons shirts, floral dresses, shorts, flip-flops, SPF lotions, new diet regimes, hats and of course the summer staple sunglasses. While we have a plush variety in choosing the rest, sunglasses are something to be carefully chosen. They protect, decorate and hide your sins after all!

Some of my current favorites + (obviously) in-trend are:

NEONs

With the neon trend fuming the summer season, neon colour sunglasses top the list. Wear them with colour blocking outfits or floral dresses or when you wear pinches of neon elsewhere. They certainly make a statement.

PRINTED

You can find floral, animal printed, stripes in all styles. They chin up your saucy casual look for everyday.

OVERSIZED VINTAGE

Adding mystery to your beautiful features, they look great when worn with open hair and smart-casuals or denims or even sophisticated dresses.

TINTED AVIATORS

While I feel the classic ones look best on men (remember how handsome Tom Cruise looked in Top-Gun), they are available in many tints today. My fav is a yellow tinted aviator. It lets you see everything yellow and sunny, but keeps your eyes protected!

And there are many more. Side detailed, Wayfarers, Heart shaped- Lolita sunglasses (as they call it), the rounded, Cat eyes, Rimless, Wrap around, John lennon etc etc etc..

A few tips-

• Choose them only after learning your face type. Then you have heaps of styles and designs to choose and rock your outfit.
• Try as many as you can before buying.
• Remember- Imitating your fav celebrity style sunglasses does not work all the time.
• It’s fun to buy cheap ones. Though, you should have atleast one pair of sunglasses which ACTUALLY protects your eyes, its fun to try some cheap ones as well. Afterall, you gotta look great!

Haha! that was a mote of my newly encountered stupidity. It started when I was thinking of doing a post on the new Magic denims by Jealous21. My funny idea of linking these magic denims with some real magic. And, can you imagine- there are so many websites teaching you how to cast spells? lol...my curiosity entertained me today. 

FYI- There are spells available online to change your eye colors, make your boyfriend call you or even grow your hair longer just in a night!! gaush...why waste so much on cosmetics? ;p

Oki, coming back to the magic denims. This summer J21 got some magic thing for you. Magic denims that change color on temperature change, even when they touch your body. So, the hotter you are, the faster it changes color. Ain't it interesting?

Available in 4 shades of lavender, gray, blue and turquoise and obviously with perfect fit sizes, they seem to be an awesome & essential summer wardrobe element. Your pastel looks will magically come out! My personal fav is the turquoise which changes to pastel cyan.
